I've been buying the H-D calendar for my husband as a Christmas gift for at least 10 years. The pictures are beautiful. The only gripe I have is that for the last 5 years or so, the holes for hanging are a different distance apart every year. Now I have many holes in my wall in the same general area.

I love the David Blattel Harley Davidson calendar, we buy one every year and it hangs in the kitchen.
Great size, great photos.
I get allot of free calendars from work but no Harley ones, I'm glad they are available from Amazon because it's way more convenient than trying to find one in the shops.

A STORY THAT GRABS YOUR ATTENTION!

My 15-year old daughter Elizabeth Hope Rose went home to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ on February 19, 2010. The medical examiner hasn't been able to determine the cause of death, but we know. Our Heavenly Father called her home so that she could be with the One she loved more than anyone in the world - Our Lord Jesus Christ! Beth was a living, breathing, walking, talking, passionate billboard for Our Lord - she owned numerous Christian t-shirts and wore a True Love Waits purity ring and red wristband all the time. (One of her favorite t-shirts says: I found Mr. Right. He gives me eternal life. He's Perfect! He shines like the Sun. He will never leave me. He Is A Prince! He died for me. He knows the desires of my heart. He opens the door. He Loves Me! - Isaiah 62:5 - ). Beth was not shy about sharing the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ and him crucified, nor in encouraging other Christians to be bold in their faith. I love her. I miss her smiles and hugs. But, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt where she is. Beth is in Heaven with the One she loves,Our Lord Jesus Christ! There is nothing like that to bring comfort to a father's heart! Praise be to the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit forever and forever. Amen!

I read the To Save A Life book first, then saw the movie with Beth (she had already seen the movie with our youth group the week before and it was the last movie we saw together as father and daughter). To Save A Life is one of the finest Christian stories out there (Fireproof and Facing the Giants being the others). It deals with real life teen issues: the cult of popularity, family troubles, teen suicide, underage drinking, teen pregnancy, and self abuse or cutting while following the life of Jake Taylor - star athlete, popular man on his high school campus, full-ride basketball scholarship to Louisville, and the hottest girl in high school - through one crisis after another to a personal transformation through Our Lord Jesus Christ - the only answer to life's problems. This story can truly save a life! But don't take my word for it. Read the book and see the movie!

We need more books and movies like this one.

The story is well written and will touch you. I think if you are struggling with issues, like suicide, cutting, where to fit in, pregnacy, abortion and other teenage struggles, you may just be able to fit in to a character in this book and find answers. I hope Jim and Rachel continue the saga with these charcters. Can't wait for the movie! Jan 2010 Yo!

Risky but worth it!

After reading through every story, glued to the page the whole time, I have to say I'm thoroughly impressed. This author really shows her stuff in these stories. You can tell she enjoys writing it as much as we enjoy reading it, which is something I always love to find in my erotica authors.
I've picked up some other Nightside stories. A lot of them are about mind control and such. These don't have that. They do have some light bdsm elements which I think add nice flavor. There's also unprotected relations and so forth. It's all very hot and I think well worth the time of anybody looking for a good bundle or two. I think altogether these stories are as long as a novel, so it'll last you a while (unless you read as fast as me lol)

Great bundle!

I read all three of these in a rush. I think I'll go back to them later on tonight or the next day, but they were all incredibly steamy and erotic. My favorite may have been the first one, but I really liked Annette from the last story with the road trip. The seduced story didn't do as much for me, although I could see how others would love it. I loved the other two so that's still a great bargain for the price. I recommend this author and this series!

Each of these stories, while they have their own plot, share the common theme of two women realizing they're better off serving one man at each other's sides. I find that intense and hot, and a lot of fun to read. If you like that sort of thing, then you'll like this. If you like hot sex scenes or great descriptions, that's here too. Pick it up.

About the Author
Alai was born in 1959 in Sichuan Province, of Rgyalrong Tibetan descent. As well as critically acclaimed collections of poetry, short stories, and essays, he has written a number of novels, including Red Poppies: A Novel of Tibet, which was shortlisted for the 2002 Kiriyama Prize. Howard Goldblatt and Sylvia Li-chun Lin are award-winning translators who have rendered the works of many of China's and Taiwan's finest writers into English. They live in Boulder, Colorado.

Loved this story. Even though it wasn't short, it kept me reading it right from the start to the fabulous ending. Especially I liked how the soryteller's own life in modern Tibet was interwoven with the story. Highly recommended!

The 360 Degrees in the circle of the Zodiac are activated by the Sun, the Moon and the Planets, even the house cusps of every horoscope. These degrees help to account for the many different expressions of each individual sign.

Degree influences have often been seen as ethereal and mysterious, relying on symbolism to suggest potential expressions. Perhaps the advantage of symbols is that they can be interpreted in the current context directly. But symbols can also be quite difficult to decipher. This book was originally written to bring the symbolism into a descriptive, practically applicable format that can more easily be used in chart interpretation. The approach is psychological rather than symbolic. It was intended to be accessible to the novice as well as the professional astrologer. But when particular references are made to current insights or methods, there is some danger that degree descriptions can become outdated. This Revised Edition has been released to update the descriptions with a current perspective and incorporate a context and evolutionary perspective that was simply not in place when Degrees of the Zodiac was originally published.

About the Author
Esther V. Leinbach was a noted astrologer, author, teacher, lecturer and counselor. She graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon with a degree in Psychology. She worked as a welfare caseworker for 4 years after her graduation. She developed an interest in Natural Foods and Healing, Organic Gardening and joined the Theosophical Society in Eugene, Oregon. She began a serious study of Astrology in 1961 and published her first book, "Degrees of the Zodiac," in 1973 through Macoy Publishing Company. Other published works include "Sun Ascendant Rulerships: Their Influence in the Horoscope" and "Planets & Asteroids: Relationships in Conjunction", both published by Vulcan Books.

A rare volume with keys to a relentless higher truth.

I am a professional astrologer, among other works, for many years. I begin all my evaluations of a new chart, a new person or client, by consulting this work. It is absolutely one of the best, most clear, and unrelenting astrological works ever published. It is not for the faint of heart. It tells the story of the degree without flinching or hiding the dark and down side. In my view, we need more works like this, that go to the truth of the symbols, degrees and positions revealed in a chart. Far to many astrologers use a very plastic and polite "cookbook formula" approach to texts on the subject. Most astrological books are so lightweight, revealing both an inability to see the shadows, and a lack of resolved to really speak the truth to the reader. While remaining elegant in language, this work is a great bottom line, raw and unvarnished look at the basic nature of the astrological chart before you. It is really a work for advanced student I think, for people who are serious about the study and who are determined to do work that is a service to human growth and self-awareness. Sadly, there are so few books on Astrology that can be said to pull this off. Work by Liz Greene, for example, are quite honest and thorough in their psychological language.

The best zodiac degree interpretations I've read! This book covers all the subtle differences, in a clear and concise format. It's astonishing how different the same zodiac sign can be, depending on the exact degree position. If you're a Sabian or Kozminsky fan, this is must-have addition to your library! It will add worlds of depth to your horoscope readings.

The Essence of each degree!

Esther Leinbach's `Degrees Of The Zodiac' is an amazing tool for yourself or friends when determining the essence of every planet or aspect in a chart. It is best used as a meditative guide for determining your own feel for a particular degree. In the book, she highlights the connecting themes that each degree shares. Some degrees are very specific and cover shared themes or visions; perhaps a person focused on an unfulfilled vision of either their retirement or satisfaction with possessions. Another degree could describe a person concerned with an obsession for gaining "instant karma" from the world around them. Some degrees are overwhelmingly positive. Some degrees can be harsh. If there is a degree that is described with mostly negative connotations--such as my North Node at 27 Pisces--it is usually indicated that, to her knowledge, the degree has not been activated or evolved compared to other degrees.

It is a very meditative book and is supposed to illuminate recorded patterns throughout history. In the right hands this book can be a real eye-opener!

Don't you just love it that oil prices are so low? Why put ugly solar-panels on one's roof or use wind power when home heating and/or natural gas prices are so low? I'm laughing my face off at Al Gore, Greenpeace, the Sierra Club and all the other phony environmentalist-mafiosos. This is also a well-written, scholarly and comprehensive book.
