Red Wings

When you add what Marcus wrote in Lone Survivor, this book fills in the details of those trying to find Mikey, DJ, Axe, and Marcus and how everyone gave their all in that rescue attempt. The effort to make sure that no one was left behind was moving and amazing. The recovery of those 19 men should make every American proud of all our military men and women and of those in Afghanistan who shielded Marcus. I found the info worth the read. RMS

Read Victory Point ,"Operations Red Wings and Whalers".It answers a lot of the questions and tells the whole story of the operation that is left out in this book

Nothing new at all in this short story. Lacks much detail, just trying to make a buck off Lone Survivor.
